Oatland Island Wildlife Center: Critters Galore

Wolves, owls, bobcats, flying squirrels, and alligators are some of the critters you can get up close and personal with at the Oatland Island Wildlife Center. It’s a great place to spend a couple of hours on a self-guided tour, where you can stroll around at your leisure and look at the animals. Be sure to show up at feeding time to ensure that certain animals will be on view, as they may be hidden otherwise. Check out special programs like the weekly Toddler Tuesdays where parents and kids can enjoy fun activities at the park. Admission is a bargain at $5 for adults and $3 for military personnel. Open Monday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m, with last admission at 4.
